CONFERENCE….. CONFERENCE……CONFERENCE…………
Yes fellows it’s that time of year again and this week is the TIME TO DECIDE, are you going ? and if you are PLEASE FILL IN THE REGISTRATION FORM --- ASAP.
As of last week John Wakefield’s conference committee had only 87 registrations and they (want) need around 450 to break even.
They say that the Brisbane conference is causing the problem, and Rotarians can’t afford both.
Fellows we were in a similar position with late entries for our own conference two years ago, so I’m sure you understand what the conference committee is going through.
I’m not sure if any of our members have registered yet, so if you haven’t please consider it, because considering you don’t have to pay for accommodation this year this is likely to be the cheapest conference to attend for some time. PLEASE CONSIDER ….OK !!!
Well tonite has finally arrived. Our annual golf day, presentation dinner and auction on behalf of the TRISH MS Foundation; undoubtedly superbly organised by Niall King and his committee.
I hope all our guests enjoy Strathfield Rotary Club’s hospitality and bid up big at our auction.
I have been contacted by Paul Giammarco during the week and thanks to the great welcome he received last week has decided to withdraw his resignation. Great news and welcome back Paul.
The Gala fundraiser is now rapidly approaching and we really need your ticket commitments in please. Also please do your best to sell raffle tickets to the car, it is really excellent value.
