Greetings Fellows,
Last week’s meeting saw four young people who have taken advantage of a Rotary Youth Programme, via MUNA and RYLA.
How impressive were these young folk. The way they went about explaining their involvement in their particular programmes left no doubt in my mind that we, ROTARY, are providing a wonderful platform for these young people to learn life skills and go out into the world as solid citizens. Congratulations to Kevin Beltrame for his leadership and I could tell from the expression on Kevin’s face during the presentations that he was very proud of what his young people had achieved.
Don’t forget application forms for the Pride of Workmanship Awards are now available from Connie Galletta. This will be a big night at a very reasonable cost, so even if you are not promoting someone, please come along and listen to our guest speaker, John Brogden.
