Hello fellows
Well, the District Conference was held last weekend at the Central Coast Leagues Club at Gosford. Strathfield was represented by Kevin Beltrame, Stephen Taylor, Euan Watson, Janelle Watson, Roger & Janice Vince, Peter & Margery Foss, Raymond & Ann McCluskie, Kevin Freund, David & Margaret Croft and myself. It was a very enjoyable & and informative conference.
The result of the voting on the Resolutions was:
1. Acceptance of District Accounts for 2002/2003. – Approved
2. Sponsoring students for the Youth Exchange Program - Withdrawn
3. Sub-committee bank accounts. - Defeated
The conference next year, hosted by the Rotary Club Burwood, will be held in Canberra 18 -20 March 2005. The conference will be held at the Canberra Convention Centre. Saturday night will be a formal function held in old Parliament House.
