 President Electric's Lines

Wednesday 16 July 2008

An in depth talk from Matthew Campbell last week has given us an insight into a part of our police officers education. – looking forward to this weeks speaker on “life in a shearing shed”.

Fellows, don’t forget to let your partners know of the upcoming guest speakers – they may find some of them to be of particular interest and of course they are most welcome to attend. Also could you make note of any specified partners nights as we would love to have fellowship with all.

Don’t forget Eric Khu is still the one taking  apologies, also if possible let him know of any additional guests. Late apologies now go to PE Kevin Freund.

We are going ahead with the BBQ on Sunday 27th July for National Tree Day.  It will be run from 10am to 1pm at Hudson Park corner of Arthur St and Mitchell Rd, Strathfield. Could all those that are able to help contact either Shirley or myself? The council will be donating $500 to us for our efforts (no outlay by us).  The council has suggested we could put out a donation tin also.

Last Thursday we had our first real board meeting. I am happy to say the board is on track for the year.

Remember:  Fun and fellowship in Rotary
