The Youth Awards night was again a resounding success. Recognition of the achievements of our local youth is of vital importance in today's society.
A great effort again by Youth Director Bradley Ayres in organising this Rotary Youth Program, together with Strathfield Council and the respective Committees.
A job well done Bradley.

The Anzac Day Commemorative Service and breakfast again went well this year.
The attendance was around 65 Strathfield Rotarians, Rotarians from the Provisional Club of Breakfast Point and residents of Cape Cabarita. The hard work of fellow Rotarians on the BBQ was greatly received, as we were again well fed.
Had a phone call from Rotarian John Watkins PHF over the weekend. John will not be attending Rotary for some months as he has been recently diagnosed with Hodgkinsons Lymphoma. He will be undergoing treatment over the next four months with an expected 70% chance of recovery.
During Johns period of treatment he has asked that we respect his privacy at this difficult and stressful time. John will contact me from time to time so I can keep fellow Rotarians up to date with his progress.
