Last weeks presentation by Gary Raymond (OAM) , “Crises to Miracles”, certainly had the audience wanting for more. Gary's chosen vocations exposed him to many life threatening situations and sights that the average person would not be able to deal with mentally. I hope we can have Gary come again as Guest Speaker in the future, as I am sure he has many other items of interest to share with us.
A reminder of the Provisional Rotary of Breakfast Point BBQ lunch in the main oval area at Breakfast Point on this Sunday 24/2 at 11.30 for 12 noon . BYO meat and drinks, salads and the like to be supplied. Charge is $10.00/person..
Good to see the Presidents of our local Probus clubs in attendance at last weeks meeting. We were given a brief insight into what each of those clubs is up to.
Today's Trish MS Charity Golf Day and dinner is one of our calendar highlights, as the monies raised from this event each year is used purely in research towards a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. To Niall King and his Committee..... "keep up the good work".
Next week we will experience the presentations by our recent RYLA Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) attendees. Each year we see the excellent results of such a valuable youth program. Look forward to another great “Youth Service” night.
