Thank you to my
Board Members for last week’s informative presentations A most
informative presentation last week from Telstra’s Simira Semaan and
Karen Ganschow on the fast moving technological changes in
telecommunications. I realise we finished the meeting a little later
than normal; however I felt that the topic was well worth it.
Our exchange student Laura will be in Mudgee with Janet and I from
Thursday 12/7 to Saturday 14/7.where we will be enlightening her on
the benefits of country living (a visit to the annual Mudgee Small
Farm Field Days). We intend showing Laura the sights of Katoomba on
the way. On the Saturday morning we will travel on to Coolah, the
home of the black stump, where we will be staying with friends on
their sheep and cattle property. Sunday will see us travelling back
home, knowing Laura will have experienced, if somewhat briefly, some
of what is commonly referred to as the Australian Outback.
