Thanks to Raymond McCluskie for organising another excellent guest speaker in Goranka Slavujevic. Goranka's ambition to work for peace in the world is wonderful.
Lets hope she will be successful in gaining a Rotary Peace Scholarship, allowing her to continue on that path.
On the PR front, thanks go to our club reporters Godfrey Isouard, Trevor Duxbury and PP Rod McDougall. We have had excellent media coverage ( Strathfield Scene and Inner West Courier) on our “Police Officer of the Year” awards and the Literature Extension Program. Well done fellows.
It is good news to hear that Bob Templeman is now home after his triple bypass operation. He is resting comfortably and will be happy to receive phone calls in a few days time.
LAURAS’ CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
Laura enjoyed the Meriden “Carnivale” last Friday evening, and the hospitality of the Teale family on Saturday night ( out and about for a taste of Korean food).
