Mr. Rotary indeed. DG N
Harley Tarrant was able to fill in as guest speaker last week due to the
last minute inability of our scheduled speaker to attend. Harley, of
course, held everyone’s attention while passing on much Rotary
information in a slightly different vein. Many thanks Harley.
I am told that the
Centenary project in Edwards Park is nearing completion and we can
expect a further announcement soon.
We were
reminded last week, by Grahame True, of the importance of attendance on
November 23rd for the Pride of Workmanship Awards. A great deal of work
goes into this night and it will be a great night if we make it one. It
is of course a Partners night, so I hope that we rally round with a
really big attendance.
DG
Bill Little would like a good roll up on the 25th November for the
District Rotary Information Night being held at the Holiday Inn
Conference Centre adjacent to Rooty Hill RSL.
I believe we thrashed out
the issue of
RDU delivery at a previous meeting however DG Bill would like to
hear of any future problems.
Tonight being the third
Wednesday we will have a
Board
meeting immediately following our regular meeting, suggestions, and
ideas always welcome.
Again thanks to Rod
McDougall for presiding over the meeting in my absence and Chit Chatting
too!!
Till next week,
Enjoy Rotary,
